Oh…The Clique, there is one in every school,   that one group of people that for whatever strange reason you want to be a part of  even though you know that it wouldn’t be a good fit.   Popularity can do strange things to you.  For Claire it’s no different.  When her family movies into the guest house of the Block’s, her small town morals are about to change in a big town way.  The moment Massie, Dylan, Alicia, and Kristen meet Claire they are determined to be rid of her for she is a “fashion disaster.”  There are a series of trials that will test both The Clique’s loyalty to each other and just how far Claire is willing to go to become a part of Massie’s crowd.

  1. I read this a few years ago and didn’t like it. There was just something about it that didn’t captivate me…I found the writing unimpressive and story unoriginal. But the story is relateable, I think especially in American schools.
